Good Evening, St. George School Families! St. George School hopes this letter finds you and your family well. As we transition to remote learning from August 24-September 4, 2020, our school team has worked to ready materials that students will need to complete assignments in the remote learning environment.
Remote Learning Material Pick-Up
To promote everyone’s health and safety, materials distribution will be held curbside from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2020 and is ONLY for students who had planned to attend in-person learning on Monday. When you arrive at school on Sunday, August 23, 2020 to pick up your student’s materials, please stay in your vehicle and school personnel will approach the vehicle and ask for your student’s name. You will then be directed by school personnel to drive along the curb and stop outside of the gym doors where your student’s materials will be delivered to your car. Parents should make every effort to pick up items during the set times of 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Note: Students who initially chose remote learning have already received materials and should not attend the remote learning item pickup on Sunday.
Chromebooks will be available for pick-up on Sunday, August 23. In order to have a Chromebook ready for pickup, you must complete the Chromebook request form prior to 3:00 p.m. tomorrow. Please the use the following ink to complete the form: https://forms.gle/xC3pHVVphfi48rxm7
School Lunch
Starting Monday, August 24, 2020, St. George School will be distributing Grab & Go Lunches for families who fill out the School Lunch Survey Form and wish to purchase a lunch. The regular cost for a school lunch is $2.75. The free/reduced cost for school lunches is $0.40 or free to those who qualify. Distribution will be held curbside every Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Athletic Door Entrance (Door 5). Monday’s distribution will include a lunch for Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday’s distribution will include a lunch for Wednesday through Friday. Please fill out the on-line survey form so that we are able to plan for everyone’s needs.
